Scary Snake

Something brushed up against my foot and my surprise turned to horror as I looked down and saw a big scary snake. As the snake slimed up Quziyah she suddenly said “ GET OFF ME “ and she started screaming and running around. Quziyah was so scared that she got sick and tired of running she started to cry.



Quziyah ran as fast as she could but unfortunately it wasn’t fast enough. It caught her and tied its body around her body. It squashed all Raeleen’s bones and ate her  all up. I ran away as fast as I could and just in time I got away from the snake. It was really big and ugly, so that became my most terrifying day. As the days went past I couldn’t stop thinking about that one most scary day.

Looking at the back Quziyah had got eaten. The problem would be that she has to try and get out of the snake. The solution is that she should have a knife with her and then she can cut through the snake. Imagining in the snake is disgusting and sliming and yuck.

I went to go talk to my friend Raeleen. I saw her shopping in the mall. I shouted “Raeleen, I have to talk to you.” She stopped and said “Hi Asena, how are you today?” I replied “Terrified of course!” So I explained to her about that dark scary night and so it went on. Then it was the end. She didn’t believe me so I told her that it was just a made up story.

Doing Our Tasks!!

Every day we do tasks. Our tasks are on our class site. On tasks we have to finish all the stuff thats on it. If it is not all finished by Friday lunch time then we get a detention. I've only been to a detention once.

At detention all we had to do is write down all the korero's. If we finished writing it then we had to turn the page over and do it again. Afterwards we get to go and play. Sometimes our tasks can be a little hard.

It can be a little hard because when we do our practice for our maths you have to mark it again. But we can get it done fast because we need to focus and don't talk to anyone. On last weeks tasks I finished all of it!

What I Like About My Teacher!

The thing I like about Mr Somerville, that he is very funny because he always clicks his hand and talk like a lady. He also gives us free time and he is very kind. Sometimes he can get a little grumpy. Only for one minute then his grumpiness is gone.

I also like him because he always gives us a heck of green cards. At home time he has heaps of spots and if we find any of the spots then we get 20 green cards. There is also a bonus. If someone finds that bonus spot then we could get 30 or 40 green cards. If we talk on the mat while he is talking and if he snaps us we get a yellow card.

When I walk in the class in the morning he always say hi. He always has a smile on his face. On Friday the top three kids in our class gets chocolate because if those three kids have the most green cards in our class then they get chocolate. They get there chocolate from our teacher. They only get it after school!

Aussie Rules!!

Every Wednesday we have Aussie rules. Aussie rules is all about a rugby ball and hitting it with our hands. This Wednesday we learnt dancing like a pirate makes a quicker hit to your partner. We also learnt the hand pass and It was really easy to do.

A hand pass is a when you make your hand like a plate and then place the ball on it and hit it with your hand. Yesterday we learnt the chest mark and the specky mark and the high mark. The specky mark is short for the spectacual mark.

The chest mark is when you put your hands together and catch the ball when your partner passes it to you. Partning up with Mya and Efilona, we got straight into it and started jumping for the ball.

Moving onto the high mark was a little hard but I had to do it. Mya was so tall when I had to run for it I could’nt grab it off her. But when Efilona holds it, it is a bit easier. I hope you enjoyed!!

Blues Vs Highlanders!!!

On Saturday night at eight a clock my aunty,cousin and I went to the Blues Vs highlanders game. When we payed our tickets we rushed off inside and got the Blues flag and painted our face blue. Sitting down on our seats I saw Piri weepu training and Ma'a nonu and also Ali williams. Ali williams was the head gear guy.

Every time the Blues would get a try flames would come up and a song will play. The kicker for the Blues was a very good kicker. The people that I know that got a try was the captain Tony woodcock and Tevita mailau. At the end the scores were 20 to the Blues and 27 to the Highlanders. I hope you enjoyed!!!
