Why is sport so important?

Sports is important because it gets you fit and will help other people that are not happy with their size. In sports there’s a lot of running which can actually help us lose some weight. The sports I like is netball, volleyball and rugby. The reason why I like these sports is because it teaches me new things like different positions and it’s a lot of fun! The only thing I hate about rugby is tackling.

You really get to learn new stuff in sports like for people who haven’t even played sports they might try out for rugby or something and they might learn a new position. In sports it contains rules like in netball for example, if you hold the ball for more then three seconds then that means it’s the other teams ball. In sports you have to warm up before a game. For example you can practice passing or catching or something that you really don’t know how to do. Sometimes sports can be hard for people that have asthma.

My Reflection For This Term! (:

WOW! What a term it has been. This term has been really cool. All the stuff we’ve been doing was awesome. Esspecially tech down at Tamaki College! Tech is when we do different things.

My highlight for this term is Fiafia. I like Fiafia because I get to stand in front with Mary.V and Vivienne! We get to stand in front because we are the main ones in our group. Anyways I’ve also enjoyed tech because I get to learn how to draw properly cause I’m in Graphics.

What I didn’t like this term is P.E! I didn’t like P.E because it was too tiring and it was always sunny on the days we did it. But next term I wish to play some games in the hall.

I have managed to do my work well (I think). I’ve put so much effort into my work especially the independent stuff and movies. Next term I wish to do better at listening to my group mates ideas and use it. I have got along with others very well. The only thing I need to improve in is my maths because I am always behind. I am sometimes shy to share my ideas with my group because they might not like it.

My goals for next term are keeping in touch with my work and listening carefully to instructions. I really wish to cooperate better next term and no arguing.

Stormy Day (Narrative)

Walking along the beach I felt sand whipping on my legs as I watched the waves crash against the shore. Looking at the sand I saw some gleaming shiny shells. I went to have a look at the it but something strange took my mind off the shiny shells. “Hey” I thought to myself “I should see what it is.” So I dug under and my eyes just couldn't stop staring at it. I picked it up and it was a 50 dollar note.

“This must be my lucky day” I thought to myself. Suddenly the powerful wind blew the 50 dollar’s away. “Come back here,” I yelled to the 50 dallar note. My mum thought I was crazy talking to money. I tried to run after it but the strong wind pushed against me, it felt like I was walking.  It turns out to be my worst day ever!

While I was walking to my mum I spot something unusual in her hand. So I ran as fast as I could and there it was the 50 dollar note. “Thank the lord” I said to myself. I grabbed the 50 dollars off my mum but she wouldn't let go. “Can you give me my money” I yelled at her. “NO” she yelled back. “Why?” I said. “Because I found it so I’m going to keep it” she said. “Well can I just have 20 dollars Please?” I said back. “Sure” She answered.

“Can we go now because I’m really hungry” I asked. “Come on then” She said. “Yay” I said to myself. So when we got to the shops she gave me my money and i bought me some chips and a drink.

A Alien Visiting A Little Girls House!

One day a little girl was playing out side. She was playing tag with her brothers and sisters, when out of nowhere a spaceship landed. They went to check what it was. They were so shocked. It was Aliens.

The aliens looked so scary. The little girl was very scared. She ran into the house because she was so afraid. Her brothers and sisters said “HI”. The aliens were so confused. They didn’t even know a single word so the aliens kicked the sister and said “HI”.

The sister got so angry and went and got her mum. Her mum came outside to take a look. She saw her son looking at something. So she went up to her son and there was the alien. She got such a fright. She went to get the phone to ring the police. But then her son said “It’s Ok”.

The alien was so confused it started looking around. So a while later the aliens decided to leave. But the son didn’t want them to leave because he was interested in them. The aliens hopped in the spaceship and off they went.

Going To Church!

On Sunday last week my Mum, Dad and I went to church. When we got there I had to sit in church all by myself. Then I heard someone coming in and it was my cousin. Telling her I felt lonely, some more people started coming so we had to be quiet.

Starting off with our Sunday school lesson we had to read the bible and answer questions but we had to speak in Tongan. If anyone is naughty then they would get a smack from the teacher. I hope you enjoyed!

Aussie Rules

Guess what we have beeGuess what we have been doing this term? Well almost every week we have been playing a game that includes a little rugby ball and is different from rugby. We have been learning the skills required to play Aussie rules.


It is essential that you have to four gold posts in Aussie rules. Lases were stitched on to the rugby ball so it can stay together.



It was awkward practicing the bounce. When I bounced the ball it was unpredictable because it bounced to the other side.



What I enjoyed the most was the pass. I enjoyed the pass because it was lots of fun and it was unexpected.n doing this term? Term 2 Technology Project

My Cushion Design

The picture on my design is my first name and two hearts. We paint it on paper to have a practice. I would like to change the dark blue to a baby blue. My next step is to paint it on a white cotton.
